While The Boys Sleep Here Are Some Firsts
23 March 2009 2:51 pm
This morning I had to collect Matthew from school as he was feeling under the weather. He didn't want to get up this morning but still wanted to go into school despite having a headache and appearing to be completely exhausted. He came home and has just slept on the sofa for much of the day. I could also do with a good sleep right now but I have 2 little men to take care of.
I will update on the lovely weekend we had when I have a little more time.
In other news, we reached TWO firsts today. First James managed to feed himself in a cafe today. He's always tried to hold onto his bottle when feeding but today he had such a firm grip he managed to drink more than half of it without mummys help. Clever boy!!! Then a while ago, I can't be 100% sure but I think I felt baby 3 move for the first time. I'm sure I felt a "flutter" or two and it was around 14 weeks I first felt James.
James was weighed today and now weighs 15lb 14oz so he's put on exactly 1lb in the last 4 weeks. I had a feeling he had slowed down alot but he is still in the perfect range for his age.
And Finally, a mutual friend of mine and bf's became a daddy for the third time. He's the one we hung out with alot last summer. His little girls Katie and Kirsty welcomed a little brother Alfie James yesterday afternoon. What a great mothers day gift to his mummy!!!
I didn't realise just how broody you could be even when expecting a baby. hehehe.
I'm going to see if there's any chance of me getting a nap since I don't have to be at the school in 15 minutes.
