I volunteered to do something a little different in my diary so Claire sent me the following questions to answer.
1. If you could chose to spend a week in the life of a celebrity, who would it be and why?
This is a tough question. A lot of celebrities out there are celebrities for the wrong reasons. They have no real talent, they have famous links. Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie for example. Others, are celebrities due to their own ego's and thier general money and attention grabbing ways. Jordan, Kerry Katona, Tom Cruise, Heather Mills, Madonna, The Beckhams, Jolie and Pitt. But if I could be one celebrity it would be one with a lesser celebrity status but with a great deal of power bought on by success and just being clever with what they do. First choice would be Alan Sugar - The man from The Apprentice. He has made his millions through sheer hard work a few gambles and has earned alot through being the main man behind Amstrad so he's got the business skills it takes to survive. I'd love to see the high life of British business and see just how much work he puts into his businesses. I'd like to experience the working lunches and if this one week coincides with a week in the Bahamas then that would be great. :) Second to that I would like to be Simon Cowell cos he has everything and is not scared to speak his mind rather than follow the crowd. That goes for a lot in his business.
2. What is your biggest and darkest secret?
I don't have any, I am rather pure! :) I don't have many secrets, I am really open and I don't have any dark secrets at that. I've always tried to live a decent enough life, I've not always come out on top but I've done most of what society has done. Tried cannabis, drunk far too much alcohol, battled with my weight, been in very "destructive" and "pointless" "one way" relationships, all of which have been charted through diaryland at some point or another so there are no secrets.
3. What is your secret weapon to lure in the opposite sex?
Erm... I can't say too much as I do not think like a man. On first impressions, I do try to look after myself and look good when I go out. Then that must lead onto my charming personality of course. Then there's my ability to be confident without being cocky and then there's that little bit of me that is naive (still) and wanting to be looked after. I would put it all down to my girliness. No men want a bloke for a bird do they???
4. I'm giving you £1 million. What are you going to do with it?
Where is it? It didn't come attached with the email!!!!
But if I was to suddenly acquire a million, I would buy a nice house with a lot of ground to give the kids a nicer upbringing. I wouldn't necessarily go for the house in the country as I believe that kids need a lot of people to interact with so their interpersonal skills can grow. I'd just like the stability of no rent or mortgage, extra bedrooms, a playroom and a bigger kitchen. I really don't ask for much.
I would also learn to drive and buy myself a VW Golf in silver blue (I'd get it sprayed the colour I wanted with that sort of money) and book a nice holiday somewhere hot and sunny.
5. If there was one film you could watch over and over again, what would it be and why?
I'm not much of a film watcher but Love Actually would win hands down. I'm a big soppy girly deep down with a love for British films. There haven't been many good Britflicks for a while.
