Birth Plan for Baby 3

I know it seems sich a long long time off but I am already thinking about a birth plan.
Yes, with 23 weeks to go I am thinking about how I want to have my third child.
You see, I have a small fear with this birth.
Matthew was born after 4 hours of labour.
James was born after 2 hours of labour.
I'm obviously hoping for another quick birth, just I'm worried about it being too quick.
I am seriously considering a home birth.
I spoke to the consultant about it on Wednesday. Not that I was thinking of a home birth but that I was concerned that I wouldn't make it to hospital in time. By the time I am in labour, call someone to look after the boys and get bf home from work (if that is the case) to get me to the hospital, then I am worried that we won't make it for a comfortable birth.
I was just finishing signing booking in and next of kin papers when James arrived. I was in hospital 40 minutes before I gave birth.
I explained all this to her and asked if I'd be able to have a midwife on call to get to my house as soon as possible if the case should arise.
My consultant looked through my notes and said I would be an ideal candidate for a home birth. Especially as I had normal deliveries and no pain relief either time. She explained that as long as I told my midwife what I told her, then there should be no problem with requesting a home birth.
I DO like the security of a hospital birth. Everything they could possibly need is there IF there should be any problem at all.
But the idea of being in my own home is so tempting. I can still get my mum to take care of the boys. I could give birth upstairs with bf and midwife while she takes care of the little men downstairs. I've sort of set it out in my head already. Then if it does take a while for people to get here I don't have the added journey to the hospital and getting a birthing room time to consider.
Funny how a third birth has you more worried and thinking so much further ahead than the first and second.
Just you watch me be late and have to be induced this time. :)
