Better Off Without Bitches In My Life

13 March 2009 12:02 pm

Awwww, thank you all so much for your messages. Now I've had a couple of days for it all to sink in that all is fine, I am so much more relaxed and more excited.

It's as exciting expecting your third baby as it is your first let me tell ya. If anything, it may be more so as you don't have the nerves you did with the first and even the second.

It is tiring being pregnant and having a 4 month old baby but I wouldn't have it any other way.

I was incredibly upset by one persons response to my pregnancy on facebook though from someone I thought was a friend. Instead of congratulating me on my pregnancy she changed her status to "PEOPLE IN "THOSE HOUSES" (meaning council tennants like me) SHOULD NOT HAVE MORE BABIES, I'M SICK OF PAYING OUT FOR THEM!"

I sent a very swift private message saying "I assume this is directed at me. Bf works, WE DO actually pay rent, council tax and everything else you know. We are not relying on anyone."

I gave her an hour to respond KNOWING she was online as she was commenting on peoples walls and pictures yet I didn't get an apology saying she did not mean me or any congratulations. So I deleted her from my friends list and I've been so tempted to send an email of what I think of her and her opinions but I haven't as I'm not quite that low nor do I want to lower myself to her standards.

I don't think I said in the last entry but my next scan is booked for May 12th which seems a long way off as yet.

I would like to know the sex but we won't find out. I'd rather like my third son to be another surprise. Hehehe. I really think it's a boy now and I will not change my mind AT ALL.

I do admit I have no fears at all regarding being a mum of three. I think I have it sussed. By the time baby 3 arrives, James will be on solids properly and possibly feeding himself, he'll be crawling, climbing and a little more independent than he is now. And, my is he an independent little boy!!! He tries so hard to do things and is a little darling who loves to spend time amusing himself as he tries to sit up unaided, roll over and just loves his toys now he can work them to a certain extent.

My only two concerns are:

1) Being 7.5/8.5 months pregnant in the school summer holidays. 6 weeks to amuse a 5 yr old and 9 month old without knackering myself out too much. I'm also hoping it will be a nice summer but not too hot.

2) This:

DOUBLE BUGGY

Eeeek!!! Double buggy!!!

How can it work?

It's so wide.

It will be so heavy.

I'll crash into things.

How the hell will it fold up?

Where will I keep it?

This is my biggest THIRD BABY fear. I have a phobia of a double buggy!!! I know I should have a million and one REAL worries but no, it's a 6 wheeled vehicle that strikes me down.

But hey, amongst the many perks of having a third child now, is that in 18 months I am going to be living with 2 toddlers and although I may be completely grey haired, I should be a lovely size 10/12 by then. :)
