Late Bookings

I don't have that much time to update at the moment but I'll make this breezy.
1) Easter was great fun. Good to catch up with Bf's family. Matthew got far too much chocolate (even after using 5 eggs melted down to make muffin size rice crispy cakes, he still has 6 unstarted eggs and mummy is not at all tempted. Baby 3 obviously doesn't require the sweet things Matthew and James did.)
2)Bf quit his job properly on Thursday and hasn't been back since. He starts back at his old office electrical testing job next week. He preferred it there by far and can have a normal family life.
3) Money is not a problem like we thought it would be. Bf's tax rebate from when he worked as self employed came through yesterday.
4) I was poorly all weekend and slept in until 1.30pm yesterday. Saturday I was exhausted, felt incredibly nauseus and had a migraine from lunchtime onwards. I was also freezing cold, got goosebumps any time I moved a muscle. During Saturday night the shivers turned to a restless sleep and night sweats. A few extra hours in bed Sunday did the trick and I was feeling back to my old self by 2pm so bf and I packed the kids off to his mums and went shopping for a few essentials.
5) These essentials were for our spur of the moment holiday we booked. Beings we all enjoy the Butlins holidays (click it) we are going this morning. We saw a late break offer online and booked it for a good price at the last moment. It was £200 for 5 days including food. A very good offer. Matthew should be back at school tomorrow but we've posted a letter saying an unexpected emergency has come up and he won't be in until Monday as we've had to go away at short notice.
I've put on facebook that I am not having internet for a few days. It is half fib but partially true as I won't be online again until the weekend. I don't want to advertise my house is empty nor do I want to blow the cover on why Matthew is not at school.
So in a couple of hours we are all disappearing for a few days to have a well earned break and escape the hassles of everyday life at home. It's been an up and down couple of weeks for us all. So essentials are actually new underwear for me and swimming nappies for the little man.
6) Thursday was the anniversary of my nans death. I used it for a day to be close to Matthew. We had a mummy and big boy day. My grandparents took care of James as bf was on his last day at work whilst I took Matthew into town. We did a little shopping and had a lovely lunch out. I do like the days it's just the 2 of us.
7) I felt baby 3 give it's first REAL kick last night. I've felt the squirms for a while but after giving the belly a poke I got a sort of "Oi, stop it." response from number 3. I don't know if it's because I'm bigger than last time as I hadn't lost all James pregnancy weight or that I'm still quite flexible, but I don't feel this baby move as much as the previous 2. Or the thid possible reason for a quieter baby is that it could be a girl. Since we don't find out the sex at our hospital it is only another 22 weeks to wait until we find out.
8) James is teething like a good un. Red cheeks, biting on everything, disturbed sleep and random bouts of crying. Let's hope he doesn't have to wait until 11 months to get his first teeth like Matthew did.
9) James ♥ orange. The colour orange. He goes mad at the colour orange and will grab for anything that colour. He loves his little chicken off his rocking chair bar and that is always unattached and being sucked. He gets hypnotised by our 3 orange platys (fish in the tank) and always tries to reach for my mums orange flowers when we go there. I think he also likes yellow but not in the same way as orange. Orange is everything. :)
10) Finally, James has mastered the art of kisses. But he will only kiss his mummy so far. He gets shy to kiss anyone else but he really does love his mummy. :)
