New Look Living Room.

It's been blinking freezing here. We've had snow and we still have a copious amount of ice around especially at the school. Outside the main part of the school where Matthew goes in, it is a little ice rink. Every day we have to watch out for the hazard of skidding bodies as the older kids seem to feel the need to run and end up sliding in front of us. It's a game of dodge the children otherwise the school run could also be described as a big game of skittles.
Today bf is having a day at a new workplace as a trial. This is to see if he likes it and if they think he can do the job. It's a place that is more or less in place through Ebay so it is probably one of the safest places to work right now. Everyone seems to be after a bargain and Ebay is the way to do it. He is testing electrical items before they go on sale. He is a proper "boy" when it comes to electronic toys and likes to try and fix things as well as try to work out problems. It's only part time to begin with but it's better than nothing and gives him the chance to get out the house a little more.
Matthews back at school and loving it.
I'm back at Fat Fighters* Weight Watchers as of last night and I am feeling hopeful and confident with it this year.
The living room has had a speedy redecoration session. We have gone from green to neutral.
So now my room looks like this:
It took bf a good few hours work and we've finally updated the nasty nets and main curtains that I've been wanting to get rid of for ages.
I'm very pleased with the new room. It's so peaceful and cosy.
