Spring Feelings

Thank you girls for your lovely comments. I was indeed rather hormonal, it's one of the drawbacks of being....er... feminine I suppose. :)
I had no real reason to feel that way. I don't want to be in that gang nor do I feel I am missing out. I was just pissed off and it was what I could focus on. I only went out with Sharon at the end of January and I've had a holiday and I never miss out with alot of my friends as I see them in the daytime rather than evenings. Most days I will be out visiting or have visitors in the wings so it's not like I am completely shut off.
But all that said I do find that a good whinge makes me feel better every once in a while. I'll carry on blaming the hormones.
Also making me feel better are bright colours and the promise of spring so I thought it would be a good time to begin with a new design that reflects my mood and all the joys of spring.
Despite my "go" on Saturday the weekend was lovely.
I had the morning to myself which made me head off on my rant then in the afternoon we made a trip to see my grandad. I've only seen him once since my nan dies but he seems so well and coping incredibly. He's a little forgetful like most people in their 70's but was glad we took the time to go and see him.
On the way home we called in at bf's mums and saw her for an hour then headed off home and had a kebab for dinner.
Bf must have sensed I was a little down as Sunday he surprised me by arranging for my nan and grandad to take care of the boys and we had a couple of hours out just the two of us. We looked round a couple of shops then headed out to a neighbouring village and went to a lovely carvery for lunch. We got a starter and a beautiful big roast dinner at a reasonable price and I enjoyed a couple of fruit juices which were orange and passion fruit. They were lovely and made a nice change. The boys were really good for my grandparents and we stayed there until it was time to get the boys home to bed.
James did decide to keep us all up half the night though and has had me longing for a nap this afternoon but I couldn't do so as I was waiting for the shopping to be delivered. We decided to give the home shopping a try and it is so much more convenient. We will be doing that again!!!! :)
Better rush off, I have a child to collect from school.
