I Feel Like I Have Won A Battle

Oh what a day!!
Today I have been searching and searching for James child health record book. No, I have been looking for it for around 3 weeks to be honest but this morning I thought I MUST find it!!!!
So I checked the obvious places for the upteenth time! The paperwork file, the bookcase, the computer desk drawer, the kitchen drawers. Nothing.
So beings I am home alone with James - who just loves his bouncy chair and only wants a bottle every 3 hours so I had the time - and feeling bored I thought I would have a look through the cupboard under the stairs. I pulled EVERYTHING out, checked every single bag. I pulled Matthews trainset to the front of the cupboard and took up his suitcase for when we go away next weekend. I cleared some rubbish and swept the floor all completely unfruitful.
So I attack the laundry pile. I hate washing, I hate sorting it after it's done even more but I fold and put it all in nice pile (in 2 laundry baskets). Still no luck.
I sort out the clothes and have a look through mine and Matthews bedrooms then give up after THREE hours severe searching.
I decide that before I sit down to lunch I will have a quick hoover. I sweep the kitchen and newly spotless dining room before going over them with a hoover to get all the really small bits. Then I go back into the living room to hoover in there. As I am hoovering near the computer table, I catch sight of something red. Wedged behind the pc tower is the red book I have spent SO LONG looking for.
I always thought it was in the computer desk drawer. It looks as though it may have fell out and got stuck behind the tower.
So at least it is now found and I can boast of a very clean and tidy house for the time being. I've been putting it off for long enough. I've just been a little too lazy the last week or two but I feel good knowing I've got things done.
Parts of England have had alot more snow but I kid you not that we do not have a bit at present. We had a bit of snow storm this morning but it never came to anything. The slush the paved the path to the school has washed away already and we are seeing alot of green. I'm glad things are back to normal. :)
